OUR STORY

Christian Guard

Murphy Family Ministries is a ministry that has started out of a need in our community to help those who have been wounded.  Our purpose is to bring the lost and hurting to Jesus Christ.   We are a non-denominational, Christ-centered ministry that offers hope and encouragement to all, through the Word of God.

Murphy Family Ministries was started as a result of COVID-19 and the impact it had on churches.  Sheltering in place caused many to turn to the online platforms for spiritual encouragement.  We saw the need to spread the Gospel online more than ever before. Murphy Family Ministries is an online ministry, making Dr. David Murphy’s teachings and sermons available worldwide at any time of the day. They are broadcast on several platforms such as Facebook, Spotify, Apple Podcast, Google Podcast, and YouTube, as well as the Victory Fellowship Church website.

We believe in the redemptive power of Christ’s love and desire to walk alongside one another in our faith. It is our desire to reach people across the world so that they can grow in their faith while strengthening their relationship with Jesus Christ.

To those in need, you have a place online here at Murphy Family Ministries where you can be ministered to. Here, someone will listen to you and will bring you the hope and encouragement you need. We want you to know how much the Father cares for you and is longing to have a personal relationship with you. Come and receive healing from the wounds of life, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. “Through the powerful love of God and His Word, we want to help you heal and grow spiritually.

While Murphy Family Ministries is an online ministry we fully believe that Christians should be plugged into a local church where they can worship and be feed and encouraged by others of the faith.

In Hebrews 10:25 it says; “not forsaking our meeting together [as believers for worship and instruction], as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more [faithfully] as you see the day [of Christ’s return] approaching.”

Although it is of the utmost importance to worship corporately, we understand the concern of being exposed to the COVID-19 virus.  If you are uncomfortable attending church during this pandemic, please consider utilizing our online platforms to meet your needs.

Three Wise Men

Our Beliefs

Beliefs

1

We value the individual. Each person is important and infinitely precious to God and has a purpose and a destiny for their lives. Background, culture, education or financial status has no bearing on the value of every person. God loves each one of us personally.

2

We value the Word of God and recognize it as the infallible word of the Lord, inspired by the Holy Spirit. God’s Word is timeless and relevant to each generation.

3

We honor God as the preeminence and decisive authority of our lives. He made us. He chose us. He loves us and He desires to have a relationship with His children

Values

Our Values

The Scriptures Inspired
The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:15-17)

THE ONE TRUE GOD

The one true God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent "I AM," the Creator of heaven and earth and the Redeemer of mankind. He has further revealed Himself as embodying the principles of relationship and association as Father, Son and Holy Spirit (John 5:17-30]

The Deity of the Lord Jesus Christ
The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. The Scriptures declare:

His virgin birth, His sinless life, (Hebrews 7:26)

His substitutionary work on the cross. (1 Corinthians 15:3)

His bodily resurrection from the dead, (Matthew 28:6)

His exaltation to the right hand of God (Acts 1:9)

 â€‹

The Salvation of Man
Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God. Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ. By the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, being justified by grace through faith, man becomes an heir of God, according to the hope of eternal life.Luke 24:47, John 3:3, Romans 10:13-15, Ephesians 2:8

The Evidence of Salvation and the inward evidence of salvation is the direct witness of the Spirit, Romans 8:16. The outward evidence to all men is a life of righteousness and true holiness, Ephesians 4:24,Titus 2:12

The Evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit

The full consummation of the baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking with others the Spirit gives utterance, and by the subsequent manifestation of spiritual power in public testimony and service. Acts 2:4; 10:44-46; 19;2,6; Acts 1:8; 2:42,43.
